Workplace Conflict Resolution
The problems that exist in the world today cannot be solved
by the level of thinking that created them.

Level 1 (WCR-1)
A survey of 357 HR professionals across Canada found that 99% reported a negative impact on business image or staff morale due to conflicts in the workplace. This same survey found that 9 out of 10 managing conflict in the workplace effectively as a critical leadership skill.
Most would agree that workplace conflict is an inevitable fact of life. Whether it is dealing with an irate customer or navigating personality clashes between co-workers, we all must deal with such strife. The critical question is: are we managing conflict in a way that leads to positive conclusions?

Use Conflict Resolution Training to Build a Respectful Workplace Culture
In the WCR-1 program, participants acquire skills that build confidence to effectively deal with irrational, angry or hostile people both internal and external to the workplace. With a clear understanding of how behaviors escalate and how to safely respond to those behaviors, employees become part of a solution rather than a contributing factor to the chaos of crisis situations.
Values and Outcomes
The WCR-1 program is built on values that prioritize respectful interactions, a service-oriented attitude, and a safe environment for employees and customers. That value base is introduced as a framework for decision making in this program. Improved communication and the de-escalation of disruptive situations are the intended outcomes. Each aspect of the program introduces skills and strategies to incorporate into problem solving and decision making when faced with disruptive—or potentially disruptive—situations.
